About the Garden

The gardens surrounding this home are, quite simply - lovely.

The large landscape boulders in the front yard are surrounded by crocosmia, pheasant’s tail grass, bronze hair sedge, phormium pink panther, rosemary and oriental poppies, oxalis clover, salvia, hostas and wonderfully fragrant Sarcocca, which blossoms in the winter with small creamy white flowers followed by black fruits. In the Spring, the Magnolia and Cemlia bushes bloom beautiflly wiht white and deep red blossoms while the creeping Jasmine flowers all summer long

The backyard features three different varieties of bamboo as well as Japanese maple, smoke bushes, lavender, rosemary, rhododendrons, hostas, and your very own cherry and plum trees, which provide abundant fruit in the summer, with enough garden left over to grow your own vegetables and herbs.

The patio is surrounded by a nicely constructed stone wall from stone extracted from the building of the property and the backyard is surrounded by six foot fence amd offers complete privacy.

Oriental solar lighting adds a touch of ambience to the nights spent sitting outside star gazing within the beautifully stone walled patio.
